Acoustic materials are often presented in static, technical contexts, making it difficult to convey their true impact. With the X-FELT launch, the challenge was to create an experience-driven environment that would engage architects and designers by showcasing the material’s aesthetic and functional qualities in a way that could be felt, not just explained.
Ronnestam Creative Studio conceptualized The Zenseful Temple—an installation that evoked the harmony, precision, and tranquility of Japanese Zen gardens. The experience was designed to slow visitors down, encouraging them to interact with the space through:
- Sculptural Spatial Design – A modular installation built with precision-cut X-FELT panels, mirroring the flowing patterns of raked sand in Zen gardens.
- Acoustic Immersion – Layered soundscapes that enhanced the sensation of silence, reinforcing the product’s impact on well-being in architectural spaces.
- Cinematic Storytelling – A short film, Zenseful Acoustics, captured the philosophy behind the collection, weaving light, motion, and materiality into a poetic visual narrative.
