Fagerhult Lighting, a 75-year-old Swedish brand and one of Europe's leading lighting companies, sought to redefine its brand platform to better reflect its commitment to enhancing human well-being through premium lighting solutions. In collaboration with Ronnestam Creative Studio, Fagerhult embarked on a comprehensive journey to realign its purpose, mission, business concept, and core values, ensuring a cohesive identity that resonates with both employees and customers.

The Problem

Fagerhult's existing brand platform no longer fully encapsulated the company's evolved identity and aspirations. There was a need to revisit and redefine the brand's foundational elements to ensure they accurately represented the organization's ethos and strategic direction. The challenge was to create a unified brand platform that would resonate internally across all departments and externally with the market, reinforcing Fagerhult's position as a leader in innovative lighting solutions.

The Solution

Ronnestam Creative Studio implemented a structured process involving over 100 managers and employees from various sectors within Fagerhult. This collaborative approach ensured that the new brand platform was deeply rooted in the company's culture and collective vision. Key steps included:​

  • Comprehensive Analysis: Evaluating Fagerhult's existing brand platform, business strategies, marketing efforts, and communication activities to identify areas for alignment and enhancement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conducting interviews and workshops with representatives from all organizational levels to gather insights and foster a sense of ownership in the brand evolution process.
  • Strategic Framework Development: Utilizing proprietary tools like RonnestamMaslow and RonnestamJung 12 to facilitate discussions on positioning, target group prioritization, and communication hierarchies, leading to the articulation of a new Purpose, Mission, Business Concept, and Core Values.
  • Educational Initiatives: Developing concepts for educating staff across Europe, ensuring consistent understanding and embodiment of the new brand platform throughout the organization.​

This holistic approach resulted in a brand platform that authentically reflects Fagerhult's dedication to enhancing human well-being through innovative lighting solutions.
