The Svenskt Tenn Lighting Department

The Problem

Svenskt Tenn's existing lighting department required an update to better reflect the brand's evolution and to accommodate an expanding product line. The challenge was to design a space that seamlessly integrated the company's historical aesthetic with modern retail practices, ensuring that the lighting fixtures were presented in an environment that enhanced their appeal and functionality.

The Solution

Ronnestam Creative Studio, led by Johan Ronnestam and Maria Karlefeldt, collaborated closely with Svenskt Tenn's in-house creative team, including Head Curator Karin Södergren and Creative Åsa Brenner Toris, to bring the vision to life. The comprehensive design and implementation encompassed:​

• Holistic Interior Architecture: From initial planning to the final touches, the project involved designing shelves, walls, ceilings, finishes, lighting, cashier desks, and all appliances, ensuring a cohesive and functional space.​
• Aesthetic Harmony: The design achieved a balance between minimalistic elegance and the creative playfulness emblematic of Svenskt Tenn, resulting in a space that is both visually stunning and inviting.​
• Enhanced Product Display: The new layout allows for a more effective presentation of the lighting collection, enabling customers to experience the products in settings that reflect real-life applications.
