Following the success of their 2017 exhibition, Kinnarps sought to create a 2018 stand that would further exemplify their commitment to innovative workspace solutions. The challenge was to design a space that not only showcased their products but also communicated their core values of openness, sustainability, and adaptability in a compelling manner.
To embody Kinnarps' vision of openness, Ronnestam Creative Studio, led by Johan Ronnestam, developed an exhibition stand that would blur the boundaries between space, design, and function. The goal was to maximize engagement, allowing visitors to experience Kinnarps’ solutions both inside and outside the stand while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to transparency, sustainability, and adaptability. In the initial concept phase, Ronnestam Creative Studio collaborated with Visual ID to explore ideas for an open and dynamic exhibition space. This early strategic direction set the foundation for what would later be fully designed and executed by Ronnestam Creative Studio, ensuring a seamless integration of brand, architecture, and product storytelling.
Key elements of the design included:
By merging architecture with product presentation, the cut-through walls ensured that every square meter of the stand was utilized to its full potential, enhancing visibility and accessibility while creating a visually striking, engaging, and immersive experience for visitors at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2018.
